IPM
Mid-Georgia Pest Control uses the IPM approach to solving commercial pest problems. Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is an effective and environmentally sensitive approach to pest management that relies on a combination of common-sense practices. IPM programs use current, comprehensive information on the life cycles of pests and their interaction with the environment. This information, in combination with available pest control methods, is used to manage pest damage by the most economical means, and with the least possible hazard to people, property, and the environment. Mid-Georgia Pest Control uses a 5 step approach to IPM:
Step 1: Complete Inspection: Our technician will provide a complete inspection of your facility both inside and out.
Step 2: Pest Identification: Proper identification of the target pest is determined. Different pest require different control strategies.
Step 3: Treatment: Using only environmentally safe products that are low in toxicity and odor, we will treat the pest infestation to control the problem and provide long lasting control. Our goal remains to use the least amount of pesticide necessary to control the problem.
Step 4: Correct Conducive Conditions: If there are obvious reasons why pest are infesting a certain area, either Mid-Georgia Pest Control will correct these conditions or we will inform the client about ways to correct the problems. Your staff will be told about sanitation or housekeeping problems when they occur.
